I have had sinus lift, bone graft and dental implant with Dr. Marker few years ago. Recovery was quite painful but overall ok experience. I again needed tooth extraction and bone graft and returned back per my dentist recommendation. The immediate post op was extremely painful. I took total of 2400 mg of advil and 2000 mg of tylenol daily along with applications of arnica ointment which only took the edge of the pain for an hour or two. My entire right side of face was swollen that I was barely able to keep my right eye open. pain was also rediating to my right orbit. this was the extend of swelling and pain. I ultimately received codein for pain by my PCP. when I reached out to her, it was advised that it was expected. I kept stating that this does not feel like normal healing with one week mark. so she offered to have it looked at. Upon exam, she said One of the suture was left loose, the entire graft had leaked out and I had so much inflammation. She told me I would need new bone graft. Anyway, I decided to have another specialist just complete bone graft of the same tooth and I barely even took tylenol after 3 days of surgery. no swelling and I didn't experience any leakage

Dr. Merker and Team are amazing! Had a freak accident, and my general dentist couldn't salvage my root canal and crown. Was referred to them, and the extraction and implant procedure was seamless.

I’m a total wimp when it comes to any kind of dental procedure. So when I learned I needed gum surgery, I was in a total panic. But am I glad I was referred to Dr.Merker. She and her staff are not only consummate professionals, but also displayed great empathy and concern for my comfort. Highly recommend!
